Bill Schonely Dunk

Chris Taylor has been voicing work for Standard TV and Appliance for 25 years, 21 of those through the Hughes/Taylor company.  Chris does the meat-and-potatoes pricing in the middle, while well loved local celebrity and Hall Of Fame Broadcaster Bill Schonley carries the limelight in the open and close.

What to do in case of a Zombie attack

Barb Hughes voiced the ‘message on hold’ for this project.  Love the physical acting, and the client message “Being placed on hold while calling 911 would normally be a bad thing…right? Especially during the Zombie Apocalypse! Fortunately On Hold Company has a plan in place for this unfortunate event that gives callers what they need…While they wait!”

In House Concerts

dsc_00111Chris Taylor considers music a community building gift.  One of the areas he especially enjoys is being musical host for In House Concerts – where you invite a bunch of friends over for a potluck, snacks, drinks/dessert or whatever theme-based munchies float your boat.  Chris provides the fun/music, which can include anything from doing a sing-along of TV show theme songs (accompanied on keyboard/ukelele or whatever instruments are laying around)…to mobile DJ’ing your 50’s sock-hop, retro party, or big-band themed dance party.

Gather around your fireplace and let Chris lead you in “name that 70’s pop song”, or Kum-ba-ya camp songs with guitar while you snuggle with your friends drinking hot cocoa and feeling 16 again (but without the angst).  Chris has original music on love, family, and/or encouragement that he can share as well.  Ask him to tell The Woodpecker Story, or play his song about growing up feeling awkward but turning that into his profession in the song Little Red Caboose.

If you would like to book Chris Taylor for an In House Concert in your home, check out his work at Chris Taylor Tunes, then contact him with your details.  Or if you have a larger venue to fill and want someone experienced who can make your event extra special, let Chris help put the “Fun” into your next function.

Free Swaps

Free frugal (community) fun!  As the founder of Swap Positive, Barb Hughes combine all three by coordinating a free swapping network based in Portland Oregon.  Check out this video of what a free gift swap looks like.

The above video was filmed and produced by our (then) 16 year old daughter, who is now majoring in Environmental Science at Pacific Lutheran University.  Chris Taylor now donates his sound system and provides emcee work and background music during the twice yearly gift and stuff swaps.
